Arewa Music and Movie Awards organizer has announced call for entries for its fourth AMMA awards and official flag off, which is to hold in 2017.
As Kannywood industry has been grooming great talents over the years, CEMS Nigeria is aimed at celebrating and recognizing their outstanding achievements in movie and music industry, while encouraging them to excel in their crafts.
This season of AMMA will recognize artistes in 45 categories through online votes: 24 categories for movie, 13 for music and 8 people’s choice category. Submission of entries ends February 5, 2017.
However, some categories have also been changed to meet International Awards Standard, and they include, Adapted Screenplay, Original Screenplay, and Short Film. Also, all movies, music or any materials/projects entries must be original or professionally adopted.
The music category has new categories like Rookie artistes of the year, music producer roots and contemporary. People’s choice category has AMMA celebrity of the year both male and female category
Also, to appreciate media stations whose support to AMMA has been tremendous, there will be a best radio station and best entertainment programme of the year both (radio and television) category.
Recall that the third season of Ammaward celebrated winners like Ali Nuhu as best actor with the film "Nasibi," Nafisa Abdullahi as the best Actress with "Da’iman," among other respected winners.
