The Kano State Police Command has arrested a man for supplying motorcycles to bandits in Zamfara State.
It was gathered the man buys the motorcycles in Kano and takes them to Zamfara State where he sells them to bandits at exorbitant prices.
Confirming his arrest, the Kano State Police spokesperson, DSP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, said the man confessed to have sold about 100 motorcycles to gunmen for more than N600,000 each.
According to him, the man was on his way from Zamfara to Kano to buy the motorcycles and then return there to sell them to the gunmen, when the police arrested him.
