350 pilgrims depart for Jerusalem

Admonished to be good ambassadors of the the state
The first batch of pilgrims sponsored by the Lagos state
government have departed for Jerusalem. The pilgrims
numbering about 350 were airlifted to the holy land last
weekend.
Before their departure, the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of
Home Affairs, Mr. Hundeyin Adeola urged the pilgrims to be
excellent ambassadors of Lagos state and Nigeria. He
admonished them to live an exemplary life in order to
stimulate the interests of others to embark on the holy
pilgrimage.
Leading the pilgrims on the trip was Mr Olayinka Oye-
Bamgbose. Medical teams, clerics and media officials of the
state also accompanied the pilgrims on the trip.
