New Revised Constitution: PCRC Thanks IGP, CP Legal, and Office of the Force PRO

The National Chairman of the Police Community Relations Committee, Alhaji Ibrahim Olaniyan have expressed deep appreciation to the Inspector General of Police, Igp Kayode Egbetokun, on the approval and release of the newly revised constitution of the Pcrc after going through rigorous vetting by the office of the FPRO and the Legal Unit of the Force.

In a statement issued by Member, PCRC Constitution Drafting Committee, Ven Dr Samson Kunle Popoola, this landmark achievement and record-breaking process marks the first time such a document of the pcrc is being subjected and passing through a rigorous vetting process lasting several months.

With the final approval,  a new chapter of deeper collaboration have been opened between the police and the Pcrc as well as giving legal backings to the various reforms embarked by the Alhaji Ibrahim Olaniyan led National Executive Committee.

The unit and diaspora collaboration aimed at bringing the police closer to the grassroots and our citizens in diaspora have been effectively captured in the new document as well as capturing and encouraging membership and collaboration with other critical stakeholders and organizations. 

The Pcrc administrative and financial structures at all levels of the Pcrc are also well spelled out in the new document. 

The national chairman, therefore, pledges the continued support and collaboration with the Nigeria Police Force aimed at keeping our dear country safe and secured.
