Just In: Multiple Explosions Rock Maiduguri As Three Suicide Bombers Strike Key Locations

0 Admin

Panic gripped residents of Maiduguri, the Borno State capital, on Monday evening after three suspected suicide bombers detonated explosives at separate locations across the city in what appears to be a coordinated terrorist attack.

Our sources told SpyeTV News that the explosions occurred shortly after 7:00 p.m., moments after Muslims broke their fast, sending shockwaves through the ancient town and triggering widespread fear among residents.

The affected locations include the gate of the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital (UMTH), Monday Market Roundabout, and the Elkanemi area.

Security sources said the attackers are believed to be linked to Boko Haram, with indications that Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) were deployed during the coordinated assault.

The multiple blasts caused confusion and forced residents to flee for safety as emergency response efforts began in the affected areas.

As of the time of filing this report, the number of casualties and the extent of damage could not be independently confirmed.

Security agencies are expected to cordon off the affected locations and intensify surveillance across Maiduguri as investigations and clearance operations continue.
