Marriage is largely considered as a sacred institution which some people would want to experience but for a ghanian singer, Belinda Nana Akua Amoah, popularly known as Mzbel she does not want to ever get married.
Speaking to Delay on Viasat 1, Mzbel revealed that she wasn’t at all bothered by the prospect of not getting married because she does not want to be enslaved.
“I don’t want to ever get married, I will never get married, and I just don’t want to be a slave for any man.
“I want to be free and do things at my will. The reason is simple, my job comes with a lot of issues and even in relationships, it is difficult to get the man to understand how much more marriage. I just don’t want anybody asking me who texted me, who called me, why are you wearing this, why are people saying this about me and all that,” she said.
Mzbel returned to the showbiz scene in February last year after a maternity break with the launch of her Red Carpet Show.
Following the success and rave of the show, she is set to organize another on May Day at Bukom Square in James Town called Mzbel Rockz.
