The Ota Magistrate Court sitting in Ogun state on Wednesday struck out all suits filed against media practitioner, promoter and radio presenter, Bewaji Adekunle.
Magistrate Alebiosu struck out all criminal charges leveled against Bewaji after the complainant failed to Appear before the court 18 months to defend her petition of Section 280.of d CPL. Criminal Procedure Law.

“The accused person is hereby discharged and the case struck out,” the Magistrate declared.
The Defendant lawyer, Barrister Mathew Aizebeokhai said further investigations by the police had shown that charges against Bewaji could not be entertained by a Magistrate Court due to lack of jurisdiction.
Prosecutor, Inspector Roseline representing the police force at court said, Bewaji had been in detention for 13 months since his arrest on september 20, 2014 by the police and was taken to court in october 31, granted bail nov 11, 2015.
The popular media practitioner was accused of a 50million naira Deal/Fraud by Abuja Popular Doctor,Yetunde A.Olutayo(Dr.)
