After creating a bikini-wearing culture among her followers, popular Ghanian actress Yvonne Nelson says she is taking a break this year.
Yvonne’s reason was that her public bikini images are creating domestic troubles for her.
According to the beautiful actress and producer, her lovely mother is not a fan of her bikini photos circulating in public.
She made the revelation last Thursday on Ghone TV when she was awarded Female Personality of the Year on the television’s E-Talk show hosted by Amanda Jissih.
“I don’t know but my mum is always worried whenever I wear a bikini at the beach and take pictures. So I am no longer going to wear bikinis,” she said when she was asked about her resolution for the New Year, 2015.
Yvonne was honoured alongside Edem, DKB, Wiyaala and a host of other stars for their contributions to Ghana’s showbiz industry.
The leggy actress showed up on the show looking trendy in a custom-made gown by Ghanaian British designer Jason Boateng.
The dress is from the Jason’s 2015 fashion collection – the Resort 2015 “Power of a Woman.”
Resort ‘15 is a tribute to strong women who aren’t afraid go out with all confidence and the right amount of sex appeal.
