Kwaw Kese

The hearing of the case against hiplife artiste, Emmanuel Botwe popularly known as Kwaw Kese, has been adjourned to February 5, 2015. This was after the prosecutor; Supt Emmanuel Akonnor asked the court to adjourn the case because he could not present its witness because he was not sure the accused would be in court.
The Presiding Judge, William Boampong acquiesced to the prosecution’s plea and adjourned the case. The accused’s lawyer, Nana Kwasi Boaitey asked for a longer date to enable his client to travel to Accra to seek treatment as he was still not well.
He said due to the short date, his client could not travel out of Kumasi. Kwaw Kese is standing trial for allegedly smoking a substance suspected to be Indian hemp.
He was arrested by the Police in Kumasi on November 22, 2014
