Jonathan has embarked on a church by church tour ahead of 2015 elections to solicit for support from Christians across the country.
Yesterday, he worshipped at Christ Apostolic Church, Area 1 in Durumi Abuja where he delivered a political message filled with framed up bible stories.
He compared Nigeria’s suffering to that of the Israelites and said Nigerians did not pass through half of what they passed through.
He also admitted that Nigeria’s problem has been on the increase since he took office over 5 years ago
“One of the reasons I go round churches, at least in Abuja, is to thank my brothers and sisters for the prayers they have been having for the country, the government and I.
“We are facing a lot of challenges now as a nation. The challenges did not start today but somehow, instead of abating, the problems started increasing for one reason or the other.”
