An open Letter To Nigerian Pastors/ Prophets: Deliver Nigeria From Boko Haram: Stop Vain Prophesy, Deliver Your Sheep

A mail from Pye's Reader,
I saw this piece and I think we need to address it without being biased. Nigerian Pastors or prophet needed to provide solution to the security challenges facing the nation. When there was war in Israel, the prophet there had already notified the citizens to fast and pray to God. And the God of Israel came to their rescue. The utterances from our Nigerian Pastors is heartbreaking! What are you doing to save your country? Let us at least know the benefit of attending your church and not just for us to be in fear when coming to church.
For instance, GO of the Living Faith Church aka Winners Chapel, Bishop David Oyedepo said that Nigeria is on the verge of a break up. He made the disclosure while Speaking on the spate of bombings and attacks in the country. Take note of the words I Boldly Quote...

"I hope that we are willing to find solution to it. I would be the last person in this world to believe that government has not discovered those who are behind Boko Haram. Otherwise, we don’t have any intelligence service in our country. Are they sacred cows that cannot be brought to book? Until we cut the source of their supplies and get those who are involved, we cannot stop them. But the danger is this, and I must say it here, we are at the verge of a break up. That is the truth. It’s unfortunate. The Nigerian nation is too intelligent to claim not to have discovered those who are behind this. So, I really believe it’s all in the hands of the authorities to decide whether they want to confront the issue headlong or to keep watching it until Nigeria breaks up......All that the church can do is to prayThe church is not in power, it has no political power. And when invited, we give advice, when required or called upon. You can’t call someone and say can I advise you?" - Bishop David Oyedepo
Please these statements are not from the spirit of God, he just talked like a lane man and not the man filled with God. Truth be told, Nigerians are mixing religion with their brain, reason well please. Christians have faith.....that no mountain is too high to climb nor to be moved. The church is in power to call on God to stop any form of war. Or else we will all perish. We don't just give advise and people are dying....sir, this is not from Gods mouth. I am not sorry to say. The word of HOPE, FAITH, LIFE is what we needed now, and not the word if death and separation.

Yes! Now people have beginning to see things for themselves. We need much support now from religious leaders not just pastors alone. Good one please, publish my comment. I am not using my name.

Who ever wrote the letter is a hypocrite, who d hell is he to tell what's from the spirit of God or not? Common sense no common. If God were to interfere with mans activity, u think the likes of babangida, armed robbers, thieves and even sinners will still be alive? If God truly interfares in mans affairs, u think Nigeria wuld hv won the World Cup and not Germany? The bible says heaven help those who help dem selves, u don't expect God to come down and start killing all boko harram members? It's the same bible that says a thousand shall fall buy ur write hand side and yet no harm will come to you. What oyedepo has said is very correct, te chuch isn't suppose to dabble into politics, there is noting the church can do about this except we pray that God should keep us safe and touch the hearts of our leaders! So please leave religious leaders out of this, they are doing their work fine. Why not push the blame to the imams for not praying to God to end the war! In the Old Testament, there were wars fought and there were casualties! War must be won! Leave religious leaders out of this
