A US news reporter struggled to keep a straight face when a colleague made an unexpected entrance during a live TV report.
Jessica Garate, a correspondent with Albuquerque-based KRQE, was introducing a story on same-sex marriage when an unidentified woman dropped into the picture
Just seconds into her report, Garate’s co-worker appeared to trip over a step before hitting the floor – resulting in a mighty thud.
The staffer quickly gets to her knees before crawling out of shot as the news anchor impressively navigates her way through the rest of her report.
She later wrote on Twitter: ‘It was really tough not to laugh!’
