President Bola Tinubu has ordered the immediate arrest of George Nwabueze over allegations surrounding the operation of a fake government agency within the premises of the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (OSGF).
The President also reportedly approved the suspension of three Permanent Secretaries following the discovery by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) of another suspected fake government agency operating from the SGF office complex.
The development is believed to be part of an ongoing investigation into alleged impersonation, fraud and other irregularities involving the operations of the purported agency within a major government facility.
President Tinubu has directed relevant security and anti-corruption agencies to take immediate action and ensure that all those connected to the alleged illegal operation are identified and brought to justice.
