Legal luminary and public servant, Olukayode Ajulo, has celebrated the 91st birthday of his mother, Princess Christiana Monisola Ajulo, the revered Iya Ijo of Christ Anglican Church, Ifira Akoko, in a deeply emotional and philosophical tribute that has drawn admiration for its blend of faith, culture, and filial devotion.

In the moving birthday message, Ajulo described his mother as “the living proof that one woman’s consecrated character can redeem a lineage, a church, a town, and a nation.”

Princess Christiana Monisola Ajulo, widely known in Ifira Akoko and within Christ Anglican Church for her steadfast devotion, prayerful life, and years of spiritual leadership, marked her 91st birthday amid celebrations from family, church members, and well-wishers.

Ajulo, in the tribute, portrayed his mother not merely as a parent but as a symbol of enduring faith, sacrifice, and the highest ideals of Yoruba motherhood., and service.

According to him, “her knees carved altars from wooden pews, her voice turned hymns into thunder, and her prayers became the spiritual architecture that shielded an entire congregation.”

The heartfelt tribute also highlighted her life of sacrifice as a mother of eight children, a trader, and a woman of industry who helped nurture her family while running the family bookshop, “Ti Oluwa Ni Ile.”

Ajulo credited his mother for instilling in him the values of Omolúàbí — integrity, humility, hard work, service, and reverence for God — values he said continue to guide his work in public life and his commitment to justice.

He further celebrated her as “my Prophetess of the Pew, my undying Ma’ami,” while praying for God to grant her many more years in peace, joy, and fulfillment.

The tribute has since resonated with many who see it as more than a birthday message, but as a profound reflection on motherhood, faith, and the cultural reverence for women who shape generations through sacrifice and prayer.

As Princess Christiana Monisola Ajulo clocks 91, the celebration stands as a testament to a life devoted to God, family, and community — a legacy her son says words can scarcely repay.
