The Chief of Naval Staff (CNS), Vice Admiral Idi Abbas, on Friday joined officers, ratings, and civilian staff of the Nigerian Navy for Eid prayers held at the Naval Base Parade Ground to mark the successful completion of the Ramadan fast.
The solemn prayer session brought together naval personnel in an atmosphere of devotion, gratitude, and reflection as they offered prayers for peace, unity, and continued success in ongoing naval operations.
The gathering underscored the spirit of togetherness and shared commitment among members of the Service, while also highlighting the significance of Eid-el-Fitr as a period of thanksgiving, sacrifice, and renewed dedication to duty.
Speaking after the prayers, the Imam charged personnel to uphold the values of discipline, sacrifice, and tolerance imbibed during the holy month of Ramadan.
He urged them to remain steadfast in their commitment to national service and continue to contribute meaningfully to the peace, security, and stability of the nation.
The presence of the Chief of Naval Staff at the prayer session further reflected the Nigerian Navy’s commitment to fostering unity, morale, and spiritual well-being among its personnel.
