The Nigerian Army has announced the release of the list of successful candidates shortlisted for the Direct Short Service Commission (DSSC) Course 29/2026 Selection Board.
According to the public announcement, the list is now available on the Nigerian Army recruitment portal at https://recruitment.army.mil.ng
Shortlisted candidates are expected to report to the Nigerian Army School of Infantry (NASI), Jaji, Kaduna State, by 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, 22 February 2026. The selection exercise will run from 23 February to 8 March 2026.
Items Required at the Selection Board Venue
Candidates are to arrive with the following items:
Writing materials
Four (4) copies of recent coloured passport photographs
Four (4) copies of recent full-size coloured photographs (standing position in a suit). Each photograph must have the following details written on the reverse side:
Surname
First name
Other name
Date of birth
Service number (for serving personnel only)
Current unit (for serving personnel only)
Scratch cards for online confirmation of WAEC and/or NECO results
Three (3) plain white short-sleeve vests
Three (3) pairs of blue shorts
One pair of canvas shoes/trainers and three (3) pairs of white socks
Bucket and toiletries
Set of cutleries, including plate and drinking cups
Beddings, including blankets, bedspreads, mosquito net, and pillowcases
The Nigerian Army advised all shortlisted candidates to comply strictly with the reporting date, time, and requirements, as late arrival or failure to present the listed items may lead to disqualification.
