The 15th Biennial Police Games have officially transitioned from the opening ceremony to full sporting action, with competitions now underway across all designated venues in Asaba, Delta State. Organisers have also released the fixtures for the duration of the games, signalling the start of intense rivalry among participating formations.
At the Stephen Keshi Stadium, volleyball events delivered early excitement as Zone 6 secured a convincing 2–0 victory over Zone 15 in a dominant display. In another match, Zone 7 also defeated Zone 5 with a 2–0 scoreline, thrilling spectators with their coordination, skill, and tactical discipline.
Meanwhile, handball action is ongoing as the Force Headquarters team takes on Zone 14 in a closely contested encounter, drawing cheers from fans and officials.
The Police Games continue to showcase unity, sportsmanship, and physical excellence within the Nigeria Police Force, as teams compete for honours in the highly anticipated Asaba 2026 edition.
