PCRC Kogi State Command Holds Strategic State Meeting, Reinforces Synergy With Police and Stakeholders

The Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC), Kogi State Command, on Wednesday, 10 December 2025, convened a strategic State Meeting bringing together members of the State Executive Council, Area Command Executives, Divisional Chairmen, and the State Women Wing Executives.

The meeting, held under the leadership of the State Chairman, Hon. Eld. Aaron H. Ali, featured the attendance of key stakeholders, including the State Commissioner of Police, CP Naziru Bello Kankafori, and the Deputy Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Comfort O. Egwaba (Adeeeeebu!), who also serves as the State Coordinator of the PCRC Women Wing.

In his welcome remarks, the State Chairman expressed deep appreciation to the Commissioner of Police for honouring the invitation despite a demanding schedule. He also commended the Deputy Speaker for her unwavering support to the Committee.

Responding, CP Kankafori applauded the PCRC for its sustained role in enhancing security across the state. He assured members of the Police Command’s commitment to strengthening collaboration, intelligence sharing, and community-driven policing initiatives to create a safer environment for residents.

The Deputy Speaker equally thanked the Commissioner of Police for his presence and reaffirmed the dedication of the Women Wing to contributing meaningfully to the advancement of peace and security in Kogi State.

During the meeting, the State Chairman invited the Commissioner of Police to formally present Certificates of Return to newly elected Executives of the PCRC Women Wing.

A major highlight of the deliberations was the preparatory discussion for the National Leadership Training Programme scheduled to hold in Kogi State on 27 January 2026. Members were encouraged to intensify efforts toward ensuring a successful hosting.

The meeting also underscored the importance of member registration on TRISONET Metaverse, noting that compliance would enhance digital integration and improve the Committee’s operational efficiency. Members were urged to remain cooperative and committed to PCRC directives to strengthen unity and progress within the Command.
