PCRC Delta State Commends Stakeholders for Successful 2025 Security Summit

The Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC), Delta State Chapter, has expressed deep appreciation to all stakeholders whose contributions ensured the success of the 4th Edition of the Security Summit 2025 held in Asaba. 

The summit, themed “Building Strong Partnerships with Critical Stakeholders in Advancing Adequate Community Policing: The Role of the PCRC,” brought together security leaders, government officials, community representatives, and partners committed to strengthening community policing across the state.

In a statement issued by the State Chairman, Comrade Amb. Oliver Eyefia, the committee lauded the Inspector General of Police, Dr. Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, for his unwavering support and vision for community policing nationwide. 

He also commended the Commissioner of Police, Delta State Command, CP Abaniwonda S. Olufemi, for his guidance and collaborative role in ensuring the summit’s success. Eyefia further acknowledged Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for creating an enabling atmosphere for strategic security engagements in the state.

The chairman extended appreciation to the National Chairman of PCRC, Alhaji Mogaji Ibraheem Olaniyan, the National Vice Chairman South South, Dcn Amb. Kenneth Otuounyo, and the Chairman Zone 5, Chief Amb. Mrs. Odet M. Eghwrujakpor, whose leadership, according to him, continues to strengthen the PCRC structure across the country. He also thanked guest speakers, newly inaugurated patrons, awardees, endorsing bodies, and partners for their invaluable contributions.

Eyefia praised the commitment of area and divisional chairmen, executives, members, volunteers, and invited organizations, with special recognition given to the Planning Committee Chairman, Mr. Monday Tenumah, and committee members for their dedication.

He reaffirmed the PCRC’s commitment to deepening cooperation between the police and the community, enhancing public safety, and fostering a more secure Delta State.
