CDS General Musa Extols Defence Minister Badaru for Strengthening Military Synergy, Hails Him at 63

The Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), General Christopher Gwabin Musa, OFR, said that the Defence Minister has, through his dedication, fostered synergy among the Services and defence institutions, thereby enhancing operational effectiveness and boosting the morale of personnel across all theatres of operation.

General Musa made the remark in his goodwill message to the Honourable Minister of Defence, Alhaji Mohammed Abubakar Badaru, on the occasion of his 63rd birthday.

In a statement issued by the Director of Defence Information, Brigadier General Tukur Gusau, the CDS extolled the Minister as a leader of great vision, humility, and patriotism whose unwavering commitment to national service has significantly strengthened Nigeria’s defence and security architecture.

He further noted that Alhaji Badaru’s steadfast support, wise counsel, and exemplary leadership have continued to inspire the Armed Forces of Nigeria in the discharge of their constitutional responsibilities.

Describing the Minister’s leadership style as a source of encouragement not only to the military but to the nation at large, General Musa prayed that Almighty God would grant him many more years of sound health, divine wisdom, and enduring strength to continue serving the country and humanity with distinction.

On behalf of officers, men, and women of the Armed Forces of Nigeria, the CDS warmly felicitated with the Minister and wished him a happy 63rd birthday with many happy returns.
