In a demonstration of inter-agency collaboration and mutual respect, the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Hasan Bala Abubakar, represented by Air Vice Marshal Clavartrinitas Uche Nwagwu, the Chief of Accounts and Budget, paid a courtesy call on the Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Shehu Mohammed mni, at the FRSC Headquarters in Abuja.
The visit served as a platform to reaffirm the long-standing cooperation between both institutions, especially in areas of traffic management, emergency response, and public safety.
It also offered an opportunity to explore new areas of synergy, including joint training, medical support, convoy coordination, and road safety awareness campaigns which are key to enhancing national security and the wellbeing of Nigerians.
The courtesy call underscored the shared commitment of the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) and the FRSC to national development through efficient service delivery and partnership-driven solutions.
While appreciating the critical role the FRSC plays in safeguarding Nigeria’s roadways, the Nigerian Air Force reaffirmed its readiness to support the Corps in operations requiring aerial assistance, logistics, or medical intervention.
The FRSC similarly offered support to the NAF on road safety management and vehicle operation. Both agencies expressed readiness to deepen collaboration and strengthen institutional ties in the national interest, ensuring safety on the roads and in the skies.
