... Continues to leverage on Community support through the Platform of the State Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC)
The Anambra State Police Command today 12th June, 2025 initiated a Walk for Safety and led a Campaign Against Kidnapping and other Violent Crimes by leveraging on the community support under the platform of the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC).
The Walk aims to promote peace and combat violent crimes in the State, according to Police Public Relations Officer, SP Tochukwu Ikenga
During the Walk initiative at the Area Command in Nnewi, Nkwo Triangle, Nwafor Orizu Roundabout, First Bank Junction all in Nnewi, and Nnobi Junction the importance of collaboration in maintaining peace and security was highlighted.
It also raised awareness about the impact of violent crimes, the need to foster a culture of peace and non-violence and strengthen the relationships between the Police and the community.

This initiative can help to build trust, encourage community engagement, thereby contribute to a safer environment in the State.
