Team Nigeria Armed Forces Top Table, Win 231 Medals As at 29th November at 2nd Africa Military Games

  

 

Team Nigeria Armed Forces hauled 231 medals, as at 29th November, 2024 at the final day of 2nd edition of the African Military Games (AMGA 2024), 114 Gold, 64 Silver and 53 Bronze. 

Algeria is another country that compete to get close medals as Nigeria. Algeria has 95 medals, that is, 52 Gold, 22 Sliver and 21 Bronze.

The strong showing of the Nigerian Taekwondo fighters, at the Velodrome in Package B of the MKO Abiola Stadium was also the highlight of Day 3 results, released by the games Technical and Monitoring team.

Yesterday featured a handful of games, including  Taekwondo, Archery, Boxing, Basketball, shooting, Squash, Taekwondo and Wrestling; at designated venues, within the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja.

The Taekwondo Gold medals were won by Nigeria Armed Forces Mohammed Yusuf - men's 54kg, Bisallah Rejoice - women's 46kg, Ibeh Nancy - women's 49 kg; and Chinenye Anam Glory - women's 53 kg. 

It would be recall that the closing ceremony is slated for today, Saturday 30th November, 2024.
