AVM PN Amadi made this known when he paid a courtesy visit on 1st December 2022 to the Theatre Commander Joint Task Force, North East Operation HADIN KAI OPHK, Major General Christopher Gwabin Musa at Headquarters Theatre Command Maimalari Cantonment, Maiduguri.
He said his visit is aimed at establishing a deeper synergy with the Theatre Command in order to eliminate the remnants of the BHTs/ ISWAP elements marauding the North East Theatre of Operations.
The AOC further re-emphasized on the determination of the Chief of the Air Staff (CAS) Air Marshal IO Amao to provide the much needed air support for the success of the CT-COIN operations.
AVM PN Amadi appreciated the Theatre Commander for his leadership style which is in line with sterling qualities of the Chief of Army Staff, Lt Gen Faruk Yahaya.
In his response, the Theatre Commander Joint Task Force, North East Operation HADIN KAI OPHK, Major General Christopher Gwabin Musa expressed delight for the visit and commended the AOC for his zeal and dedication.
Furthermore, General Musa also expressed his satisfaction for the wonderful working relationship existing with the Air Component Command.
