NSCDC Establishes Additional Area Commands, Divisional Offices in Kaduna

Following the incessant attacks and increasing criminal cases in Kaduna and it's envrions, the Kaduna Commandant, Nigera Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Idris Yahaya Adah, on Tuesday, has created nine additional Divisional offices and three more Area Commands including several outposts, across the 23 Local Government Areas of the state.

The Commandant, said Kaduna state now has six area commands and 31 Divisional offices across the 23 Local Government Areas, as officers and men of the corps are battle ready to face criminals and bandits in the state.

In a statement on Tuesday by NSCDC Public Relations Officer in the state, DSC Habeeb Badamasi, noted that the establishment of nine additional Divisional offices, Area commands, including several outposts, followed the approval by the Commandant General, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Dr Ahmed Abubakar Audi to create more Area Commands, Divisional offices, with a view to get closer to the people, protect them against terrorists, criminals and Federal Government infrastructures across the state.

He said the state Commandant, Idris Yahaya Adah further stated that the presence of NSCDC officers and men in remote villages, communites, across the 23 Local Goverment area of the state, would further boost residents' confidence to go about their normal businesses without fear of being attack by criminal minded persons.

Commandant Adah who thanked the CG, Dr Ahmed Abubakar Audi for his foresight, intellectual approach to security matters, further ordered immediate redeployment of officers to the newly established offices acrossàA the state.
