... extend same hand of cooperation to the new GOC – GEN CHIBUISI
The outgoing General Officer Commanding (GOC) 2 Division Nigerian Army, Major General Gold Chibuisi has charged them to remain disciplined, focused, as well as extend same level of cooperation he enjoyed during his tenure to the new GOC.
Major General Chibuisi stated this during his farewell address to troops of the Division after handing over the mantle of leadership of the Division to the new GOC, Major General Aminu Chinade.
The former GOC while eulogising the troops for their doggedness and cooperation, reminded the troops of the security situation in the country, noting that with the determination of the Federal Government, enhanced synergy among the Security Agencies and the cooperation of the traditional rulers, there is assurances that the insecurity in the nation will soon be a thing of the past
The highlights of the ceremony includes the signing and exchange of handing over notes, decoration of the new GOC with the 2 Division insignia, handing over of the command flag and hoisting of new flag.
Major General Aminu Shehu Chinade the new General Officer Commanding 2 Division was the immediate past commandant Nigerian Army Depot, Zaria.
