Explosives Planted by Boko Haram Detonated in Borno

At about 0900hour Boko Haram terrorists have reportedly detonated an IED Planted along Miromti and Darajamal axis in Bama LGA, during clearance Operation by troops of 21 Armoured Brigade Bama LGA.

A Counter Insurgency Expert and Security Analyst Zagazola Makama report that, the IEDs attack was followed by an ambush by the terrorists who fired multiple shots at the vehicle of the troops. 

The attack resulted in the killing of one soldier, injuring one Officer in the rank of Lieutenant. The officer was evacuated to Bama Hospital for treatment. 

The insurgents who constantly terrorised farmers and locals within Bama and Banki were believed to be from Gazuwa camp located 9 kilometers to Bama town.
