Gunmen have abducted the mother of Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello’s Chief of Staff, Madam Seriya Raji.
According to our source, Madam Seriya Raji was abducted around 8 pm on Monday at her residence in the Nagazi area of Okene in Central of Kogi State.
A neighbour, who pleaded anonymity, narrated that some gunmen numbering about six stormed Madam Raji’s residence at Inese/Ovakere layout at 7.40 pm and whisked away to an unknown destination.
According to the neighbour, the gunmen who were masked and dressed in black suites gained access to her room through the mosque beside her house.
Meanwhile, all calls to the Police Command Public Relations Officer, DSP William Aya, for confirmation proved abortive as at the time of filing this report.
