Growing online newspaper, Abuja City Journal has been appointed as the official media organisation for the presentation of ‘Politics That Works’, a book co-authored by the Special Adviser to the President on Political Matters, Senator Babafemi Ojudu and a youth advocate, Mr. Alex Adekunle-James.
The book which is scheduled to be launched today, October 4, 2021 at NAF Conference Centre, Jahi in Abuja by 4:00pm will have the Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, SAN, as Special Guest of Honour, among other illustrious Nigerian leaders expected to grace the historic event.
Earlier, while speaking on the book, the presidential aide had bemoaned the aloofness of innovative Nigerian youths from participatory politics which he noted, remains a veritable channel through which their ideas could be translated to benefit larger population of the general public.
Ojudu also said it has become imperative for youths that are already into politics to close the leadership gaps by understanding certain principles and tactics required to groom their political vision while at the same time preserving their good values.
Aside from the presentation, the event will similarly feature a panel session where categories of political actors noted in the book will interact towards engendering ideas in an interactive session that promises to be very educative.
