Inisa town in Osun state is currently witnessing strange deaths.
The situation which has claimed at least five lives is suspected to be linked to plans by the town's Muslim community leadership to appoint a new Imam, following the death of the former Imam.
Findings by SpyeTV reveals that the last of such persons to die strangely was Chief Enoch Kolapomoye Ajiboso, a Christian, was the Eesa (chief) to talk to the two sides to choose one person and stop all bickering and enmity.
According to reports, the monarch of Inisa, Oba Joseph Oladunjoye, had mandated Kolapomoye to speak with and appeal to sides in the dispute generated by the need to install a new Chief Imam.
Now late Kolapomoye was, on 20 December 2020, said to have come to the central mosque, venue of the parley, to honour the monarch's invitation, and was in the middle of talks when he suddenly collapsed and died.
It was also reported that before Kolapomoye's death, at least four others had died in similar strange circumstances.
Meanwhile, the development has thrown Inisa into deep mourning and worries, as no one was ready to either express readiness to be Chief Imam, or openly support a candidate for the position
