Senate confirms Onnoghen as CJN

The Senate has confirmed the appointment of Justice Walter Onnoghen as the Chief Justice of Nigeria .

The confirmation came after a screening exercise conducted for the nominee by the Committee of the Whole .


President of the Senate , Senator Dr. Bukola Saraki , has congratulated the new CJN on his appointment.
