News just reaching us indicates that two cars loaded with
arms, ammunitions and explosives were intercepted along
airport road in Maiduguri, Borno state this morning.
With the APC Presidential campaign billed to hold in the
state capital today, the report has it that angry youth set
one of the cars ablaze when they realized there were
explosives in the truck.
This was disclosed by a twitter user (@MusadiqZ) who
posted pictures on Twitter

Meanwhile, Borno State government declared today,
February 16, a public holiday in honour of the former head
of state and the presidential candidate of the All
Progressives Congress (APC) General Muhammadu Buhari,
who is currently campaigning in the state.
