The candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP in Saturday governorship election in Osun state, Senator Iyiola Omisore last night protested the alleged announcement of the result by the All Progressives Congress APC.
In the letter of protest personally signed by Senator Omisore and addressed to the state Resident Electoral Commissioner, the PDP candidate alleged that contrary to the results being circulated around by the APC, he was actually leading in the poll.
The letter reads in part:” I hereby condemn the APC candidate , Raufu Aregbesola declaring his own version of the results without recourse to INEC. With the facts of results, its apparent that the PDP candidate , Dr. Iyiola Omisore is leading”.
