Grace Ama is an internationally acclaimed, awards - winning Actress with years of experience in movies, television and stage. She is also a Brand Ambassador. I caught up with her recently in Lagos at the #4NL Stand up 4 New Lagos red carpet press launch and we had a brief chat about her career, relationship and motherhood
PYE: Nice to meet you Grace Ama
Grace: Thank you
Pye: How has it been, being married?
Grace: I am not married yet, I have a baby. it's been a fantastic experience, it's been a wonderful experience. For me as a lady, the best thing that can happen to you is to have a child, or children that can call you a mother and that is what God has done for me, I have a beautiful son, I use the word "beautiful" (laugh). He is adorable and for me that's the best thing that has ever happened to me......
Pye: So what are the challenges you are facing as a single mother?
Grace: I am not a single Mother because We are both together training my son. It can't be challenging because times that you have to go to some places that you have to pay attention to the child
Pye: You've been scares in Nollywood Movies?
Grace: I have been out of the country but I am back to Nigeria and I have been into basically not movies but into some other projects that have more value, my job is a valuable one, I just put my hands into other things that are also in line, one of it is, giving back to the society that have given so much to me, rendering service to them, I was made one of the ambassador for NDLEA and this one is another one for 4NN and 4NN, so I have bee impacting into people's life positively and we creating that Nigeria that we want a new Nigeria, New Lagos, we have to step out, we don't have to sit back in our houses and expect change. It is time we all came out and render our voices and render our services to great Lagos to great Nigeria and busy Gods grace it would come out Best thing that any country would be proud of.
