Sources tell Pye that the late Kefee’s medical bills and other expenses incurred while being treated in the US before passing away where all taken care of by the current Delta State Governor, Emmanuel Uduaghan. Kefee was hospitalized in a Las Vegas hospital for 15 days and placed in the Intensive Care Unit before passing away on Thursday, June 12, 2014. ‘The medical bills accumulated and was becoming a serious burden for the late singer’s husband to bear, Governor paid for everything’, an insider in the Uduaghan family.
‘Kefee was close to the Uduaghan family. The Governor’s wife Roli Sheila Uduaghan was very fond of her, Kefee performed at her sister’s christening of her daughter’.
