There is confusion presently in Kano as twin explosions reportedly occurred in a densely populated area of Sabon-geri. We gathered that one of the explosions occurred along the new road park, and the other went off almost immediately at the new shoprite, Ado Bayero road.
We cannot confirm the nature and source of the blast, but our source in Kano says people are running helter skelter, after the heavy sound was heard in the ancient city.
He said he has been forced to put off his Generator which was on prior to the blast, due to the ongoing panic in the area.
