"We started the program because many customers tell us that McDonald's is where they first started dating," McDonald's spokeswoman Jessica Lee told CNBC. The packages run the financial gamut, from the budget option of about $373 U.S. to the deluxe package, which costs about $1,290. It includes a two-hour venue rental, 50 invites, an apple pie cake display and more. The best part? The couple gets a pair of McDonald's balloon wedding rings.
So far, there are no plans to expand the program outside of Hong Kong, according to the report.
