Yesterday Sunday 30th June 2013, Media mogul Mo Abudu launched her anticipated multi-broadcast networkEbony Life TV at the Eko Hotel & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Hosted by Nigerian music star Darey Art-Alade and TV personality Dolapo Oni, the event saw celebrities, business executives and politicians in attendance.
Guests arrived on the yellow and black carpet in their stylish ensembles.
Malcolm Stevenson “Steve” Forbes (Editor-in-chief, Forbes Magazine), Governor Liyel Imoke of Cross River state, Genevieve Nnaji, Lynxxx, D’banj, Uche Jombo-R, Kate Henshaw, Rita Dominic, Alex Ekubo, Eku Edewor and Ebuka Obi-Uchendu were all spotted at the event.
Nollywood starlet Beverly Naya and media personality Toke Makinwa hosted the red carpet. Inside, Tiwa Savage, M.I. Abaga, Banky W, Onyeka Onwenu, Ebenezer Obey and Omawumi all performed at the event.
Fashion icon Deola Sagoe unveiled her creative pieces at the event. Models took to the runway in dresses and gowns by the designers. Then we were presented with more models in traditional “iro and buba” for ladies and “agbada” for men.
