Troops of 24 Special Engineer Regiment have arrested a female suspected impostor who allegedly paraded herself as an officer of the Nigerian Air Force in Ebonyi State.
The suspect was apprehended at about 4 p.m. on Aug. 31, 2026, at Onuebonyi in Izzi Local Government Area of the state.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the woman allegedly presented herself as a Flight Lieutenant of the Nigerian Air Force.
Troops recovered one woodland camouflage trouser and a mobile phone from the suspect.
The suspect and the recovered items have been handed over to 82 Provost Group for further investigation and necessary action.
