The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) is preparing the next generation of aviation professionals and technology leaders as Junior Airmen of the Air Force Military School (AFMS), Jos, undergo intensive hands-on training in drone operations and other emerging technologies.
The initiative is aimed at equipping the young cadets with practical skills, technical knowledge and innovative thinking required to meet the demands of modern air operations and an increasingly technology-driven security environment.
Through structured practical exercises, innovation-focused learning and disciplined military training, the Junior Airmen are developing competence in unmanned aerial systems (UAS), while building confidence, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities essential for future operational responsibilities.
