The Federal Capital Territory Police Command has confirmed that Big Brother Naija All-Stars winner, Ilebaye Odiniya, and her two younger brothers were rescued and taken into protective custody following a violent domestic incident in Abuja.
According to the police, Ilebaye, 27, alongside her brothers, Godson Emmanuel Odiniya, 14, and Devin Emmanuel Odiniya, 10, were rushed to Yabisam Hospital in Lugbe for medical attention after sustaining injuries during the confrontation.
In a statement issued by the spokesperson of the FCT Police Command, SP Josephine Adeh, their father, Hon. Emmanuel Odiniya, who also sustained injuries during the incident, was transported to the hospital by the Area Commander Metro, ACP Ufomadu Georglyn.
Police authorities clarified that the rescued siblings are currently under police protective custody, contrary to reports circulating online. Their father, who is also receiving treatment, remains in police custody pending the outcome of investigations.
The command added that questioning of all parties involved will begin once medical doctors certify them stable.
Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
