The Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Sunday Kelvin Aneke, has charged commanders of the Nigerian Air Force to intensify operational pressure on insurgents and other criminal elements across the country.
Aneke gave the directive on Sunday during an operational briefing with Branch Chiefs, Air Officers Commanding, Directors and Air Component Commanders from various operational theatres nationwide.
The CAS stressed the importance of continuous evaluation and reassessment of operational strategies and procedures to improve mission effectiveness in ongoing operations.
He emphasized that every mission undertaken by the Nigerian Air Force must deliver decisive impact against hostile elements while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and precision.
According to him, operational success must also be balanced with the protection of civilian lives and property during air operations.
The meeting formed part of ongoing efforts by the Nigerian Air Force to strengthen coordination, enhance operational efficiency and sustain pressure on insurgents, bandits and other criminal groups threatening national security.
