The President of the Nigerian Army Officers’ Wives Association, Dr Safiyyah Hassan Shaibu, has led a delegation on a condolence visit to Mrs Asmau Braimah following the death of her husband, Brigadier General O.O. Braimah.
The visit was marked by solemn reflection, as Dr Shaibu offered heartfelt words of comfort and solidarity to the bereaved widow, acknowledging the pain of her loss and assuring her of continued support from the association.
She also commended members of the 47 Regular Course for their steadfast presence and support to the family during the difficult period, describing their show of unity as commendable.
Members of the course, in response, expressed appreciation to the NAOWA President for the visit, noting that she had earlier demonstrated compassion by promptly dispatching delegates shortly after the incident.
The condolence visit underscored NAOWA’s commitment to supporting its members and their families in times of grief, reinforcing values of unity, empathy, and collective responsibility within the military community.
