The people of Idanre Kingdom in Ondo State have congratulated Assistant Inspector General of Police, AIG Olabode Adeleye Akinbamilowo, on his elevation to the rank of Assistant Inspector General in the Nigeria Police Force.
The congratulatory message was conveyed in a statement issued on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, by the President-General of the Idanre Development Assembly (IDA), Dr. Anthony A. Omolola.
Dr. Omolola described the promotion as well-deserved, noting that AIG Akinbamilowo’s elevation reflects his dedication, professionalism, and outstanding track record in the Nigeria Police Force.
According to the statement, the people of Idanre Kingdom, both at home and in the diaspora, are proud of the senior police officer and celebrate his achievement.
He added that the community sees the promotion as a source of pride for Idanre Kingdom, Ondo State, and Nigeria at large.
The IDA President-General also prayed for God’s continued protection, guidance, and success for AIG Akinbamilowo as he assumes greater responsibilities in the service of the nation.
