The Anambra State Police Command has highlighted the key benefits of a career in the Nigeria Police Force, urging eligible citizens—particularly indigenes of Anambra State—to take advantage of the ongoing recruitment exercise and contribute actively to the improvement of policing services in the state.
In a press statement, the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, stated that joining the Nigeria Police Force provides Ndi Anambra with a valuable platform to participate meaningfully in national development and security governance.
According to the Command, increased enlistment of Anambra indigenes will strengthen community-oriented policing, enhance public trust, and improve security outcomes across the state. This, the Command noted, is due to the advantage of local officers having a better understanding of the environment, culture, and people they serve.
The statement described policing as a noble profession anchored on service, discipline, and patriotism. It noted that a career in the Police Force offers structured professional growth, continuous training, and the opportunity to make a positive impact on society through the protection of lives and property.
The Command further encouraged indigenes to view enlistment into the Nigeria Police Force as a constructive avenue to contribute to national discourse on security and governance. It stressed that active participation in national institutions is critical to inclusive development, effective policing, and the promotion of lasting peace.
The Anambra State Police Command therefore calls on all eligible indigenes to apply and be part of ongoing efforts to strengthen policing and security in the state and the nation at large.
