JUST IN: High court Fails to Deliver Judgment in Lamido’s Case Against PDP

The Federal High Court in Abuja on Thursday failed to deliver its judgment as scheduled in the suit filed by former Jigawa State Governor, Sule Lamido, seeking to halt the forthcoming national convention of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Justice Peter Lifu had, on November 11, reserved judgment for November 13 after hearing final arguments from counsel representing all parties in the case.

Lamido, through the suit, is asking the court to stop the PDP from proceeding with its planned national convention slated for November 15 and 16 in Ibadan, Oyo State.

However, when the parties appeared in court on Thursday, an official informed them that the judgment was not yet ready. The official added that the parties would be notified once a new date is fixed for delivery.

Details shortly…
