IGP Egbetokun Flags-Off Ramadan Palliative Distribution, to Feed Personnel till End of Fast

The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olukayode Egbetokun has flagged off the distribution of palliatives to the Muslim personnel across the state command as the Ramadan fauuuuuuuuuuusting continues.

The Force Public Relations Officer, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, who supervised the 2025 Ramadan Palliative Distribution at the Force Headquarters today, Wednesday 12th March 2025, launched the distribution at the Force Headquarters National Mosque to ease the economic burden on personnel during the holy month of Ramadan.

IGP Egbetokun said the Palliatives would be shared amongst personnel to break their fast every evening for the rest of the fasting days. 

He said the distribution plan encompasses all State Commands, ensuring widespread coverage.

Responding on behalf of the Muslim personnel, the Chief Imam of Force Headquarters Mosque, Alhassan Yakub, commended IGP Olukayode Egbetokun for the gesture, saying it would provide succour to personnel and civilian worshippers as they observe fasting.

The Ramadan palliatives are aimed at providing essential sustenance to thousands of police personnel during this fasting month.
