The Naval Base Oguta, the Maritime Component of Joint Task Force South East Operation Udo Ka had conducted a free medical and educational Rhapsody for people of Eziorsu Community, Imo State, assuring them of continuous provision of security against criminal activities in the state.
The medical Rhapsody featured BLOOD PRESSURE CHECK, BLOOD SUGAR CHECK INSECTICIDE TREATED NETS DISTRIBUTION, FREE MEDICINE DISTRIBUTION, FREE CONSULTATIONS, and HEALTH EDUCATION DIGITAL SERVICE
The Maritime Component of the Joint Task Force South East Operation Udo ka, Naval Base Commander, Commodore Bashir Salisu ably represented by the Commander Friday Anthony gave the assurance during a free medical outreach in Eziorsu Community in Oguta Local Government Area of the state.
The event which took place at the Eziorsu Community School was part of the non-kinetic operation organised by the Naval Base for the host community.
The Commander, Maritime Component of the Joint Task Force South East Operation Udo ka. Naval Base Oguta, Commodore Bashir Salisu, represented by the second in Command, 2IC, Commander Friday Anthony, said the medical and educational outreach was to give back to the host community
He said this is in line with the mandate of the Nigerian Navy and the vision of the Chief of the Naval Staff. Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ogalla to foster a better civil military relation with the good people of Eziorsu Community and improving and bettering relationship and for the younger generation.
