The Chairman of Nigeria's Independent National Electoral Commission, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu is hosting a Stakeholder's Meeting in Akure the Ondo State Capital.
The meeting comes just 9 days before voters are due at the polls to elect a governor.
It also comes a day after the Chairman visited polling units at Akure, Idanre and Ile Oluji/Okeigbo Local Governments for a mock accreditation exercise to assess the readiness of the Commission for the election.
The meeting is being attended by candidates, heads of security agencies, INEC officials, Civil Society, transport unions and traditional rulers including the Deji of Akure, Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi.
