As part of activities to welcome school Children the Police Community Relations Committe, PCRC National Youth Committee recently have donated educational material and school socks to POWA International school, Garki Abuja.
PCRC National Youth Coordinator Engr. Junaid Olatunji Victor said that the intervention was to assist less privileged pupils in POWA schools with learning materials at the beginning of every school term.
Victor said he was optimistic that the gesture would enhance the learning experience of the beneficiaries and lead to an increase in the completion and transition of quality education.
He encouraged pupils to always have mind of giving back to the society and to shun any activities that may affect the academic progress like drugs, cultism, exam malpractices etc.
